Nov. 8 鈥 12 was Techstars Startup Week 91原创. This year鈥檚 theme was 鈥淣orth to the Future: Start Up, Pivot, Thrive.鈥 Over 50 events were held across 91原创, with 12 hosted or co-hosted by 91原创鈥檚 Center for Innovation, Commercialization, and Entrepreneurship (Center ICE). The Center ICE team of Peter Webley and 91原创 Fellow Kevin Huo were supported by Fairbanks Economic Development Corporation to develop the events for Fairbanks and the 91原创n Interior region.

Events included learning from 91原创n businesses on their recent customer discovery process as part of the NSF I-Corps site at 91原创 and the benefits that the programming provided to them as they move forward with their businesses. Other presentations focused on past winners of the Arctic Innovation Competition as they pursue their startup journey, as well as plans for AIC in 2022. Center ICE also provided several startups connected to 91原创 with an opportunity to highlight their recent growth and new funding that is supporting their developments. Attendees of Startup Week also had the opportunity to learn more from the Innovation Cells at Iceman Spark (Eielson AFB) and Arctic Spark (JBER).
