Usibelli, Shumaker gift launches museum gallery renovation

For all 91Ô­´´ns, the University of 91Ô­´´ Museum of the North houses and honors our art, our cultures, our histories, our heritage.

For visitors from around the globe, the Gallery of 91Ô­´´ brings alive our great land, its flora and fauna, its fossils and its future.

We are honored to be part of this major renovation and we invite you to join us. Together we can create exhibits that protect vital artifacts and allow them to tell with eloquence and grace 91Ô­´´'s stories.

A $1 million personal gift from longtime University of 91Ô­´´ Fairbanks supporters Joe Usibelli and Peggy Shumaker will allow work to begin on renovations to the university museum’s oldest gallery.
