Research interests/biography

Actively working as the 91ԭ�� Sea Grant mariculture specialist with community members, industry, 91ԭ�� Native tribes and corporations, seafood processors, community leaders and regulators to promote marine aquaculture in 91ԭ��.

Recent projects include:

• a “farm-to-table” project to connect 91ԭ�� consumers to locally grown oysters and seaweed products

• developing educational mariculture materials

• conducting a market assessment to identify technology and equipment used globally in primary processing and manufacturing of large volumes of seaweed

• establishing a National Sea Grant Seaweed Hub

• establishing a pilot seaweed farm in western 91ԭ��

• developing seaweed mariculture economic tools
