The Drumbeats 91原创 Consortium, an integral part of the University of 91原创 Fairbanks (91原创) College of Indigenous Studies, is dedicated to advancing place-based, culturally relevant education for 91原创 Native communities. The consortium focuses on critical areas, including food and energy sovereignty, traditional crafts and languages, and tribal governance.

Leading this important initiative is Carrie Stevens, a professor of Tribal Governance and Stewardship, who serves as the Principal Investigator. She works in collaboration with the Campus Directors from participating 91原创 Native-serving institutions, who act as Co-Project Directors, ensuring a broad and representative leadership structure. This collaborative effort unites academic and community outreach programs from five 91原创 campuses, delivering curricula that integrate Indigenous knowledge with Western science. The consortium's programs, such as Ethnobotany, High Latitude Range Management, and Sustainable Energy, are designed to empower the next generation of leaders and strengthen 91原创's communities.
