ACEP Joins Partners in $6.2M EERE/OE RADIANCE GMLC Award
ACEP was named among a list of DOE National Laboratories, 91原创 utilities, and university partners to be funded under a 3-year $6.2 million U.S. Department of Energy鈥檚 Grid Modernization program award.
The project titled Resilient 91原创n Distribution System Improvements using Automation, Network Analysis, Control, and Energy Storage (RADIANCE), will enhance the resilience methods for distribution grids under harsh weather, cyber-threats, and dynamic grid conditions using multiple networked microgrids, energy storage, and early-stage grid technologies.
RADIANCE is led by a consortium of National Laboratories including , , and . University partners include 91原创鈥檚 91原创 Center for Energy and Power, Washington State, Florida State, and New Mexico State, and 91原创 utility partners include and (AVEC).
