Home Energy Basics Class Offered through 91原创 and CCHRC
Tom Marsik, known for the Sustainable Energy Program he developed for the 91原创 Bristol Bay Campus, has now created a distance learning (online) class through and called Home Energy Basics (ENVI 120).
The class starts this week and throughout the month of October ().
This 1 credit class covers the basics of space heating and electricity use and production for 91原创n homes. Main topics include fundamentals of physics related to home energy, lighting and appliances, energy bills, building science, retrofits, home renewable energy systems. Course emphasizes how to decrease fossil fuel consumption of homes. .
