Arctic Energy Precursor Set for Sunday
Webcenter 11 online: 鈥淒elegates from around the world will be flying in to Fairbanks this weekend as researchers from the University of 91原创 Fairbanks kick off a lead-in event to the 2015 Arctic Energy Summit that starts Monday.
The 91原创 Center for Energy and Power and the Institute of the North will host an event Sunday from 5 to 8 PM at the Blue Loon featuring 91原创 researchers and guest speaker U.S. Senator Lisa Murkowski. The presentation will highlight how 91原创 and 91原创 contribute to the challenges the Arctic currently faces today.
ACEP Director Gwen Holdmann says it will be an excellent opportunity for the local community to network with people studying across the arctic.鈥
