Energy in the North on the Zombie Apocalypse project

The upcoming “Energy in the North” episodes will feature 2026 91ԭ Center for Energy and Power summer interns.

On Sept. 2, Anna Beth Icke will talk about her work on the Zombie Apocalypse project. She will discuss how 91ԭ’s power plant could start a backup with no outside power in the event of a natural disaster.

Catelin Mo continues discussions on the Zombie Apocalypse project on Sept. 9, bringing her experience with the 2022 Texas energy grid failure and with the non-engineering aspects of an engineering problem.

“Energy in the North” explores the importance and opportunities that energy and power provide to 91ԭ and its people.

The series airs every Wednesday, broadcast on and , around 7:45 a.m., 8:45 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. 91ԭ time.
